So, had this for a while. No notification that when in general area, but on the communities page there is one (is high increases when I age others), so obviously there is a reply somewhere. It might have been from several months ago and might have been in a subforum, though checked the ones in can remember. Problem is; clicking on the text which should take you to the page which shows unread replies has not worked (just goes to GOGbear holding up the world) in years, on any browser (chrome, firefox, safari).
So it’s am wondering if there is an easy way to find this?

Huh, that link for sure has worked very recently for me.

The same page can be accessed under community > forum replies.

Maybe gog's terrible backend chokes on your account.

If you mean community button then forum replies, that does the same as the link. GOGbear holding up the world after a while. Yep, forum is really mostly abandoned now.

i have found myself scurrying through all topics i participated in to get rid of the dot!!!
not to mention no dots when someone reacts to a topic i wrote but does not adress me specific!!!!!!

If you can't find a reply in any of the recent threads you participated, it's possible that it was a reply in a thead that has been deleted. In that case, you can use a workaround to solve your issue (as is the usual case on GOG™).

I find that the solution mentioned in the second post is "cleaner": when you have a new notification (chat, items on your wishlist on sale), click on the bell icon, then instead of going to wherever the alert wants to take you, click "Clear notifications". Worked for me, you just need to wait for a notification or make it happen.

Thanks, already done the clear notifications on the bell icon, that clears the purple dot (in fact the dot goes when I read a new reply even when there is one pending), but it still states 1 u read on the community page. Not to worry.
