Did anyone ever find a method of getting the unread replies link to work? The one on the community area that shows you have so many replies? It has never worked, clicking on it just times out, over and over. I did have 9 replies for the last 5 years or something and never been able to see them, but I have another one, and whilst I have been able to keep up with general, can’t find this reply, and it’s not on recents. So just curious if anyone had got that link working:
https://www.gog.com/forum/myrecentposts

(Note, I know it works for some people who don’t have lots of old replies, but after a while it just breaks - too much load or something).
No posts in this topic were marked as the solution yet. If you can help, add your reply
It takes a long time to load for me (about 10 seconds), but it does load. Times out only very rarely.

I have tried it repeatedly, spins for minutes then it’s GOGbear, refresh, refresh, over and over, nothing but GOGbear. It’s been like it pretty much as far as I can remember.
Oh, it’s not browser either different ones used, cache and cookies cleared etc.

Behaves the same way for me on both desktop and a phone.

There is one alernative. Go to All Forums and use the "Topics I've participated in" section. Replies are also marked there but you have to manually expand the history to see older threads.

Yep, that’s good for general, but the game subforum a don’t show up there, hence why I have 9 topics replied to not read, these are either really old (years) r from game subforums. I have one more in the last day or so, and nothing shows on the topics I participated in, so I assume it’s in a subforum. So afraid that’s not getting a response.
Oh, unread replies hasn't worked for me for some dog's age. I only recently managed to get down to one unread reply by scouring the forums.

And expanding the history only works when there is a history to expand; GOG regularly truncates it.

It's always worked for me. Try using Pale Moon browser.

Thanks, but as I mentioned above, it works if you don’t have lots of posts or old posts. The fetch request simply times out. Some people manage to get through after refreshing several times. It simply a case of number/age of posts. Have tried on several browsers, always the same result for me.

I use Adalia Fundamentals and "Show forum replies notifications under the bell menu" option

Thanks, I had forgotten about that, will have a look. Though I suspect the issue is on gogs end, I think it’s the get function just times out on their db and cancels the request.

That's exactly it. But for some reason, the AF script can scrape it just fine and tells me what my responses are. Unfortunately, the links to replies don't work for game specific threads. but you can see what they are.

So I just checked this, doesn't work either, runs for a bit then times out. Think I am just going to have to live with not knowing, they are mostyl old posts been there ages, but some are in game specific areas.
