I've tried to play telltale wolf among us. Black screen and I can't do anything if that happens. Press reset. What is this a console?

It is controller related. So basically I have to start it without it (plug out the cord) and it can with some luck run with a controller (when I next time use it) but usually it takes 2 hard starts. Insanity

Like what year is this? They have controller scheme and stuff but come on.. It just is black screen. It's insanely annoying.

Could be a good game but it sucks so much if you forget to take controller out it just fucking freezes.

And to make things worse in those games I can't really switch controls q is for quickaction I mean I use arrow keys and mouse.. How awkward is that when you have to punch q repeatedly.

I thought walking dead was so popular that they could make a bit of options now and there and a working game but no.. Jesus it's annoying.

What's yours worse thing in games, technical stuff, crashes and what ever? (or am I just so much pissed for that game)
King of Dragon Pass I can't get to run at all. The process just sits there in the Taskmanager and nothing else happens.

Test Drive Unlimited. I just love that game. But ever since I bought a new machine (years ago now) the game suffers from "micro-stuttering". Meaning the games runs with 60 fps (VSync, no problem) but once or twice a second it just freezes for a fracture of a second. Makes it totally unplayable. I had the same problem with X2 - The Threat btw.

The most frustrating occurrence was, when I had nearly beaten the fucking Hellhound in The Witcher for the first time (after dying countless times) and the game just crashed. I just sat there staring at my desktop, mouth open... for minutes.
Just mentioning Walking Dead brings to mind my first attempt. You cannot invert the Y Axis...seriously, you cannot invert the frigging Y axis, what moron came up with that? In a game with many QTE's that involve the Y Axis, it makes it very annoying for "invert" freaks like me.

Worse still, they refused to fix it.

And like I said even in there the q key is in another side of the keyboard. People say it is a good game, I say that that players must have minds of steel.

I once almost puked because I was so frustrated. =P

Well luckily enough I can use a controller for it, but such annoying design decisions are really frustrating.
Well, apart from anything steam/origin/other rent-ware only, the one game which really annoyed me was dark souls. Everyone raves about it. I played it twice, second time with 10mods. Both times only for 30mins or so. Awfull graphics. Worst control system possible. No story. Auto targetting. Could barely even open the menu. THE worst game ever made with room around it.

Your sentence is not enough for my rage. It's true.. "Let's start that game" "Oh, shit I forgot to take controller away" Let's start PC again. Takes while.. I'm bored to look at my quick icons in desktop because of that.. What game actually crashes all.. I can't even press control-alt-del. It just is black screen. Oh joy.
Infact i read in telltale stuff they said to someone make a combatability to windows 98.. (yes win 98) Really and that doesn't help. RAAAAH!!

Uh.. Sorry about that. Still Come on. Rage! ..was almost great game. =)
Biggest problem in games for me is save files.

WHY THE COTTON-PICKING F*** are they all put in the F****** C:\Program Files; C:\Program Data; C:\Users\<name> locations??

I install games to a different drive than BOOT drive for a F****** reason!!
Stick save game files in the F****** game folder!!!

Are you talking about that one folder which is in some games default invisible?
I just hate when a PC game/port gets "console interface", one that is a pain in the ass to navigate with a mouse+keyboard >_<
Yea, I know. It is my problem that I don't like controllers, so it's just a personal preference :P

In some older games I hated that I can only save at "save spots". I lost countless hours of progress, because I needed to stop playing because of real-life reasons.

I don't mind QTEs, at some places they even make sense, but when I saw button-mashing QTEs in Tomb Raider, I thought I was going to strangle someone. Passing the "wolf" scene took me almost a half an hour, and I could NEVER pass the "Russian guy" scene, and I tried for almost 2 hours. Every time I thought I finally passed, another goddamn QTE popped up. I completely gave up when I reached the fourth one after like two hours of mashing buttons. I have better ways to waste my time -_-

No.
I'm talking about these: (see attachments)
Attachments:

Oh boy.. I can list a few

1) Unskippable intro videos (Turns out when I click to start a game, I want to play that game, not watch logos or stuff...)

2) FOV is fixed (Makes some games entirely unplayable to me)

3) Savegames not in the game folder. Oh boy.. I absolutely agree. Why the heavens do developers put save-files on C: which is a SSD limited in size It wasted precious expensive storage for things that don't need an SSD. Better yet, they don't even agree where to put them. So you have 7 locations on Windows where saves could be. Often in folders where it is impossible to know what game even made them.

4) Enforced regional language settings. As a German I do get some of the better voice overs, but I prefer the English ones sometimes. It's arcane magic to set that in some games. I've had certain games (Mortal Kombat specifically) where I could never figure out how to play on English!

5) Game mods only supporting Steam Workshop - Turns out that auto-updating mods is about as useful and fun as a vasectomy while still alive. Let me just say, Skyrim mods. 1 single auto-update done by steam can entirely break and corrupt your save. YAY!

So yeah ;)

At least program data in default is invisible. I saw Sinclair.. was that a remark of Babylon 5 original commander? =D

I once lost my all saves in divinity, that third person game which is pretty cool.

1. Not being able or having to go through a convoluted process to remap the keys. Older game problem really.

2 QTE's. Immersion breaking mechanic that frustrates even when it does work properly. Really lazy design to be honest. Mashing X to do anything just shows that they didn't have the time or inclination to implement a control scheme that matched the unique context of that particular event. Alone in The Dark actually succeeded in this en devour.

3. No manual saving. Why this is not even an option in most games is beyond me

4. Story stuff. Like the third act just becoming a slog or the plot taking a nosedive. But that's another story (pun intended)

5. Pixel hunting. I didn't have 3 separate surgeries on my eyes to further strain them by hunting for a single pixel because the designers thought it would be fun to have to search for some microscopic item placed in an arbitrary spot. Pixel hunt designers are dog rapists, on this there is consensus.

sucked when I first fired Injustice, and it didn't recognize my keyboard.
