...could this be a good chance to see them released here? I see some games are getting released DRM-Free on Epic Store first. Ex: Batman Arkham Collection.

Hope the same happens to the upcoming Sonic games ;P Please GOG :D

Oh, and Sonic Mania will be available for free on Epic next week. Fingers crossed they get rid of Denuvo. Also for Colors.

Nope
Its more Likely HL3 is a GoG exclusive than Sega ever releasing via GoG

Never say never...

Ooops! I just broke my own rule, *twice*! Shit!
Extremely unlikely on the surface.

We could prabably said the same about Konami not long ago.

good , even if sonic is a meh franchise
Back when DotEmu's DRM-free store was still around I remember they were selling Mega Drive/Genesis ROMs. There's nothing special on those titles being sold without DRM, the point is that SEGA did agree to have games in a DRM-free site with a marginal market share.
Well apparently at the start of this year GOG became a approved partner: https://www.sega.com/sega-approved-partner-list

I still keep dreaming...
The Sonic Colors Ultimate trailer sports only the Epic Store logo, so it will likely be a timed exclusive there.
As for Sonic Mania, Denuvo was removed 2 years ago and a GOG release hasn't been made more likely, not for Sonic Mania, neither for any other Sega game.

In short, GOG is too slow and can't step it up.

All/most stores sell some DRM free games, the big difference is (for some publishers): there's only one that advertises/promises it.
Many/most people that buy their games on Steam/Epic/Other store don't care about the DRM aspect. Maybe you can't imagine it, but the lack of information about the presence of DRM makes many people automatically think that there IS drm... these days. Yes, ignorance can fulfil the same purpose as DRM.

Already own Sonic Colors but I would rebuy it to show support. Own Sonic Mania on Switch and I say the same.

If Skies and Illbleed could just get released on PC and GOG could get it too that would be huge as well.

Still waiting on some more PC releases before I can say they've completely bought in like the remaining Castlevania / Silent Hill / MGS / Yu-Gi-Oh! series.

Applicable to me. Before joining GOG, I thought I fully owned my Steam games. General unawareness of ownership and DRM is a major factor up there with newer games and bigger library out on Steam.

I was originally excited when I heard news Sega updated their approved partner list with GOG on it. But comparing the webpage before and after the update, many other partners were updated too. So I'm not that hopeful anymore.

I can understand that the DRM aspect might seem 'invisible' to most always-internet-connected Steam users, but the fact that you can't play a game with a pending update - without applying that update - should ring a few bells.

Edit: I'm just talking about single player games. I don't play multiplayer, but for those that do, the DRM-free aspect (for 'newer' games) looks like a lost cause (in general, not just Steam).
