No it isn't. Not now.
(Damned annoying it is, I don't know if it's Pale Moon, Cinnamon, GTK, or an underlying function for copy-paste that messes up URLs with anything remotely resembling a "special" character - common parentheses, in this case. UTF-8 URIs have been a thing for a good while now, I think they should be handled well enough.)
