TK_GvR: Nobody said anything against Steam and what do you mean by patience? Hotfix for GOG users got delayed for over a week, not just a few hours...
Why not use CDPRs own distribution platform (GOG/GOG Galaxy) to give own users updated files first or at least the same time?

@GOG team
Thanks for the new file.
Could of fooled me. It shouldn't make a difference where it goes first aslong as it gets there.

EvanTheJet: 2) I've read (but not confirmed myself) that the new bug makes other werewolves unkillable as well. Is this true, and if so, will the new DLC file fix this? I have the "Nameless" quest coming up (the one with Morkvarg), and I'm wondering if I should just hold off until the next patch or fix.
I could kill any other werewolf just fine, it was only the DLC quest one that was bugged. I definitely played Nameless while on 1.07.

As for Galaxy, I've seen people have problems, but - it works on my machine. :^)
I found a werewolf dude in a cave with a sad lady crying and whatnot... long story short on easy his hp regenerated so much that he was completely unkillable... tried for an hour. i used special swords potions bombs spells you name it.

but this was before any DLC.... which makes me hate werewolfs in all forms.

blotunga: I see no new patch on the web. And the DLC's exe is still: setup_the_witcher3_dlc12_2.0.0.33.exe.

JudasIscariot: Should be 2.0.0.34 though :)
Is it possible to get someone to look into the update notifications? I have never received notifications for Witcher 3 DLC.

I wouldn't have known this existed if I wasn't looking at the forums right now.
After installing the updated DLC file for Skellige's Most Wanted, everything worked and I was able to complete the quest.

AlexY: Just to let you know - W3 did get a very small update in Galaxy, and the quest works just fine now.

EvanTheJet: I don't use the Galaxy client as I've read so many posts about people having problems with it. Instead, I've always chosen to just manually download the files from GOG. That said, can anyone confirm the following:

1) If I re-download and re-install the Skellige's Most Wanted DLC file, is it indeed a new version that will fix the problem? Also, do I have to somehow uninstall the older file first, or will installing the new one automatically overwrite the old file?

2) I've read (but not confirmed myself) that the new bug makes other werewolves unkillable as well. Is this true, and if so, will the new DLC file fix this? I have the "Nameless" quest coming up (the one with Morkvarg), and I'm wondering if I should just hold off until the next patch or fix.

Thanks as always, everyone!
I second your questions since I too installed the game manually.

I can't answer your questions directly, but if it helps at all, I DLed the fixed DLC file through the DLer and installed it on my game. I didn't uninstall the old one, just installed the new over top. It seemed to work fine.

Disclaimer: I've not played more than an hour into the game, as I'm waiting for all DLCs and another patch or two before getting into it, so I've not gotten to that quest in-game yet.

Especially since that would be silly. If Steam has a patch for the Witcher 3 days before GOG then we either need a CDPR hating thread or a GOG hating thread. :P

Yes quite right. I'll start.

Dam you... GOG... we should... Be... First! Dam you! (man that is Shatnered)
Just wish that gog,com woul show that dlc's got updated or their version. For someone who doesnt use galaxy it is quite annoying to know that dlc got updated as there is no post no changelog nothing to suggest that it did
