The premiere of the game in development from Lavapotion and Coffee Stain Publishing is coming in hot on GOG. Today we would like to give you a few good reasons why you should wishlist this indie gem on GOG!

1. First of all, Songs of Conquest is a tribute to the classic turn-based strategy titles like Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Age of Wonders. Created by a passionate team of developers, the game draws from the best elements of the genre.
2. It’s set in a rich fantasy world filled with monsters and magic. You can conquer this land as the leader of one of the 4 unique factions – from the armored knights commanded by Arleon to the decaying monsters from the Barony of Loth.
3. The game has a huge replayability value. Not only does Songs of Conquest enables you to play both alone or with friends. The in-game level editor allows you to create your own adventures using the same tools the developers.

Watch the gameplay trailer below to see Songs of Conquest in action and add it to your wishlist, before the “in-development” version game goes live on GOG on the 10th of May 2022.
That's nice for people who can't muster up any patience and got to have it NOW / A.S.A.P., I guess...
Will definitely pick it up once it's completed.

They're talking about wishlisting, not buying. You can't even buy it now on GOG, it's coming soon™! O.o

Was referring to when it's releasing as InDev (not the finished product) on the 10th of May, apologies for any confusion.

GOG.com: Songs of Conquest
Looks nice.
Seems like heroes won't actually take part in combat in this one either? And if units generate the magic for them to use, as that dev says, that makes them even less relevant.
Assuming it also has that Heroes 1-3 rule of needing hero trains, with units not moving on their own or at least having some other means of transport available? :/
Or it's a single hero thing like King's Bounty? That'd be good at least.
I'll buy it day one, I'm so excited!
charming
Have it already on my wishlist for a while now.
Much anticipated. Don't let us down, the stake is high, take your time.

Mr. Lebowski asked me to repeat that: her life is in your hands...
The game looks very inviting, I very much like the graphics and perspective/view. How is it called? 2½D?
I like TBS games and the game looks interesting. But I hope it will get a Linux version until release. Cannot be that hard when you already have a MacOS version. ;)
