I was looking at the „Winter Sale“ page (→ https://www.gog.com/winter_sale_2021 ) and thought, there is something wrong here. It just looks so dry and bleak, not like any other promotion page or the homepage.

The background is single-coloured, the fonts are wrong (“Lato” or even “Open Sans” instead of “Lato GOG”) and the layout is just something that might be hacked together by an intern.

GOG, what went wrong? Will this be another new layout facelift (to the worse), or wasn’t there enough time to create a page in the corporate design?

I actually think it looks cool, it's a bit retro looking but I think it works really well.

It should be festive with Christmas trees and a big fat guy in a suit, instead we get plain colors and another homogenized sale.

I can't recall the last time I allowed a website to set their own fonts. Would you feel better if I used Jokerman for the duration of the sale?
