So, I've been using DosBox for awhile now for emulation for MoO 1+2, Alpha Centauri, X-com UFO defense, and Ect. Even before I bought the new editions of those game on GoG and Steam. But recently after upgrading to Windows 10 from 8.1 every time I use it, my Toolbar vanishes. And the only way for me to get it back is sign out, or Restart my computer with Ctrl+Alt+Delete. I left I similar post on the Steam forums and nothing so far.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem since the big Windows 10 update, and/or has a fix for this. It's entirely frustrating trying to use a computer with out a toolbar.... Do I need to do Alt+Enter to shrink the screen rather then closing the game normally? I just quit that habit after my Mods folder for WoW got corrupted from closing WoW without logging out. So it's a contradictory.

I also tried Googling for the answers and all I get brought to is: DosBox , DosBox on windows 10, DosBox working on windows 10?, Ect. All my Drivers are up-to-date, DosBox is up-to-date, It's just so weird...

Any help would be appreciated greatly!
Just a thought... you might make sure the various extra graphical options are disabled... Specifically disable visual themes and desktop composition... not sure if it will work, but something to try.

Yes the bar at the bottom of the screen with start, and all your windows that you shrunk down there.

Except neither Desktop Composition nor Visual Styles CAN be disabled in Windows 10. At least I've yet to discover a way.

Fun...

Actually I'm reminded a while back when I used Windows XP there were scripts that did very interesting things with AHK, things like forcing windows to always be on top, minimalizing to the tray (even if it didn't support it), forcing resizing/moving, etc....

Maybe forcing to always be on top would help... Assuming they left that in, I recall moving away from XP half those functions didn't work anymore...

Hmmmm This link looks promising... [s]I can make a quick exe file hidden in a png file if you want... just extract using 7zip...[/s]

edit: And found a pre-compiled zip for you
