JudasIscariot: No, we did not :) Also, I am totally digging the chiptune soundtrack which will be included with the game, oh yes, it will be included :D

Grargar: Released in 3 days for $8. Nice!
And I am taking the game home to *ahem* test it out on my Mint install...for work purposes, you understand. I think this might end up on my Late For Work mix :D

ShadowWulfe: Did GOG reject this game too?

Phew. Scared me for a second. GOG rejects enough that I have surprised eyebrows permanently painted on my forehead.

We don't reject EVERYTHING right off the bat,.except anything with obvious pay2win schemes that gets nuked and THEN rejected, so I have no idea where this "GOG rejects all these games!" idea comes from :)

In any case, Sanctuary RPG is signed, sealed, and will be delivered...soon (tm) :)

You know, it's your typical weekly thread, like the one with "GOG plox give me Steam keys" or "GOG no longer releases old games anymore".

Yeah I know but I figured I'd clear the air a bit, can't go into details for obvious reasons, regarding this "GOG rejects everything" idea :)

JudasIscariot:
Yeah I understand that, there are just a good number of games that have been rejected in the past that were not very encouraging. The real issue isn't so much rejections I imagine, more of a noncooperative publisher issue.

Most famously would be The Cat Lady, but also, there was Avernum: EFtP, Nethergate, The Quest, that one game that the guy who was on the forums used to post about (I can't remember the name of it for the life of me).
There are others I'm sure (I can't remember everything), and I can get it from the profitability perspective, given that I don't know how much each game costs GOG on the support side of things, but I can still shake my head in frustration when a game that I like gets rejected.
