Ok, my anti-virus just put the updater file into it's quarantine saying it has been infected by the Win32:Malware-gen. I've never seen that happen to any other file and that's the first time this has been detected by Avast for me despite me having GOG Galaxy for a long time on my old PC. I've no idea if it's a false alarm or if it's an actual malware file that decided to use this entrance and I've no idea how to approach this problem. So did anyone else have that happen?

Thankfully! Because AVG just did it for me and this is one of the first google results.
