Today KK Game Studios announced a new game - "Her War": https://store.steampowered.com/app/1222150/Her_War/

Somehow, it looks interesting. And their previous game is already on GOG: https://www.gog.com/game/freeman_guerrilla_warfare

So, will this new game will be sold on GOG too?

Does it? I'm sorry but it looks like "Barbie Goes to War". That's not a sexist comment about a female soldier, that's just what the graphics make the protagonist look like. I also have reservations about any game that feels the need to proclaim how "HARDCORE" it is in all caps in the very first sentence. And the combination of this HARDCORE survival game and the Private Bombshell visuals is just bizarre.

He he you just haven't seen their *other* upcoming game.
Judge, judge freely and share your opinion, mister Breja, while I go fetch some popcorn :)

Actually... I think it looks much better. I mean yeah, it still looks like cheap B-grade stuff, but way better. I don't mind sexy chicks in games if that's what you inferred from my post. I played Bloodrayne for fuck's sake. I mind that a) in "Her War" they literally look like Barbie Dolls dressed up as soldiers, which just looks cheap and a bit weird and b) that they completely don't fit the "HARDCORE military survival shooter with serious choices" the game advertises itself as. It's like having the old big-titted Lara in the new Tomb Raiders. There's nothing wrong with either as far as I'm concerned, but they don't fit together.

She Will Punish them on the other hand looks less doll-esque and much more consistant in tone and style - B-grade tounge in cheek demon-slaying smut. Not a game I would buy, I've got way too much better games to play and not enough time, but it's perfectly fine if that floats someone's boat.

Interface seems to be a blatant copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat, based on the screenshot showing the inventory screen, almost looks like some kind of mod.
Anyway, sounds like a ridiculous premise. There should be an option to play as the "evil terrorist government", re-capture those feminist rebels and bring them back to the "slavery camp" (lol), that would certainly appeal to many gamers.
That banner image on the store looks like it's in the style of those similar to Acting Lessons and other games of that type. I... really don't know how to process it fully.

Also, looking at the only other game this developer has released, it seems weird that they'd do the pseudo-shovelware smut thing AFTER the serious attempt at a game (even if the reviews suggest it to be average at best).

Well, I'm more interested to see how they add base upgrading and defense in a Mount&Blade-like world except we have guns instead of swords. Yeah, I would have preferred if they made models like in recent CoD MW, but this is what we got.

Also, would like to get Radio Commander here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/871530/Radio_Commander/

Quite interesting idea by simulating troops commanding with radio orders only.

"seems great. it's on steam" - seems like a real ringing endorsement.

Having played the developer's 911 sim, I'm skeptical about this being more ambitious on paper/ad copy than it actually turns out to be executed in the game itself. That said, added a vote.

She Will Punish Them
Thanks for the info. That "She Will Punish Them" game looks awesome, especially since the female characters look pretty & feminine, which is a very rare thing these days. I hope they get that game on GOG, and with Achievements, as soon as it's released.

Her War seems less good due to "survival mechanics" which are generally a horrible thing to put into games and one that makes them unfun and not pleasurable to play. At least it also has great visuals on the characters though, so that's something.

But I want to vote for "She Will Punish Them." Where's the link for that one?

EDIT: After looking into this more, I found another great game, which is apparently made by a second team within the same dev group:

Hopefully we will get "Beauty And Violence: Valkyries" on GOG too.

Finally a game with strong female lead.
From the trailer of "She Will Punish Them" it doesn't seem to have a very good/interesting gameplay...
Bloodrayne has a sexy female main character too, but gameplay is indeed really funny. Shredding vampires into pieces with your blades is a really enjoyable experience. But on this one combat seems to be rather dull...

And "Her War" looked to me like a mod for Freeman: Guerrilla Warfare at first sight.

Not really interested in any of both games, but there's always an audience for every kind of game.
So, if they find their way to GOG, they'll be welcome. The more games we have available, the better.
