Redeemed it and guess what happened? It didn´t appear at the top of my library (sorted by purchase date), but when I typed in it´s name in the search function this stuff appeared!
What the fuck?! Purchased on June 25th?!?! 2014?!?!?!

It looks like that gifted games are now sorted in by their original purchase date, which isn´t any helpful at all. It´s against the purpose of the "by purchase date"-order option. That one is intended to show the recent additions to your library.

P.s.: I´ve seen this before, but it never have been that, so I didn´t become suspicious until now!

The order, mostly. When you add a gift to your account and need to search on your shelf instead of having it display as the last purchase it can be slightly annoying. Very slightly, but still annoying.

This has been an annoying bug on GOG for a while now. It's just really weird it doesn't show the later date.

This has been the case ever since the redesign. It doesn't really matter, though, as sorting by purchase date is broken beyond repair. I only hope that the upcoming new account system will finally give us an order history and, hopefully, options to sort our games the way we want.

You only need to search once to download it...

Well, nothing is terrible and there is no sign why it would be terrible.
But it is disturbing, because it doesn´t make any sense and undermines the sort by purchase date option...
