I JUST bought "What Remains of Edith Finch" to stream for a friend of mine tonight, and there is absolutely NO WAY I can download it from this damn website. I've tried using every possible method using GOG Galaxy, and I've gone to GOG's website and tried to download it manually. The damn game is on sale, SOMEONE must have been paying attention to it recently, but I can't get any damn download to work. God I hate this service so much.

What is the actual problem? Slow download? An error message? What?

I've seen probably 10 posts like this that are almost verbatim.

Another "ask a vague question and bail out never to return" complain thread

I always wonder about the psychology of these
The game is emotionally sensitive. Calling it stupid makes it shelter in its download shell.
Have you tried downloading a non-stupid game?
Have you tried switching it off and on again ?.
Sorry, Gog's downloads only start with enough IQ
It looks OP was playing it already but did not think it would be nice to tell that issue was resolved (and how). Have issues - tell everyone, but if it is resolved (or worse - it turns out it was fault of person who was complaining) - no info at all.
Sad.
Edit: typo

Because the drama would then be over. And I guess the OP wishes to milk said drama for all the proteins, calcium et al it has, to maximise profit...
