kiario99: I bought assasins creed on gamesplanet for 4.99 on gamesplanet on gog it COSTs 19.99. Pound vs dollar, but still much more cheaper.
Usually, this happens with pretty much any game around here, not only that special one you really want... But gog's prices are really *justified*. First of all and most importantly, it is DRM Free, you buy it, you fully own it, you don't need third party DRM, prohibitions or clients to hound you and intrude in your system. Second and of same importance too, is that all games around here, are regularly tested and tweaked, in order to run adequately in modern systems (older games, i mean)! Service, the absence of which, is TERRIBLY noticed right off the bat in other services, like Steam or Origin, for example, cough, cough, coughhh! Plus the games that are unfairly priced (regional prices etc), yield you some store credit to use for buying something else cheaper, later... A great deal, all in all.
I myself have purchased quite a number of games here and didn't regret that not even once. At the same time, i ALWAYS avoided buying the game i wanted to get here in other services, even if there said game would cost lest than 4 bucks and here nearly 20 (torchlight 2 as a fine example), either waiting for it to get a discount, or buying it here more expensively. Ultimately, the deal is QUALITY vs QUANTITY. Gog is all about quality, bro.
And speaking about quality, GOG's technical department and support service is actually functional, punctual and works well, unlike, say, Steam... COUGHHHH!
