thraxman: Been here since the beginning pretty much, got one of the early access beta invites to the site, and currently have 1127 game in my library.

Oddeus: That´s almost half of gogs catalogue. That will be hard to beat.
Here’s the proof, the hidden games a demo I got the full version of later.

Okay I do play games, the problem is, games are relatively cheap here, I don't have anything else to spend my money on, and virtually EVERYTHING peeks my interest, so I buy shit constantly. A lot of them I install, play for a few seconds, and decide I don't like, so I uninstall, but for 2 or 3 dollars a pop it's not a big loss.

I don´t doubt it :) I just wanted to say that there won´t be a lot of people with more games.

Collecting games is a game in itself, I guess. Like collecting stamps. Sometimes it releases more endorphines when buying a game than actually playing it :)

If I remember correctly, Barry_Woodward was buying almost every game that came out here for a long time (not sure if that's still the case, as he doesn't hang around the forums as much anymore).

Except a stamp collection can be resold (piecemeal or as a whole) to someone else. Doing that with digital goods is frowned upon.

1444 at this point. Not buying that much anymore mostly because I have so much to play already, but sometimes something interesting comes by in a sale, maybe every few weeks. I still have some games in my GOG wishlist.

And for what it's worth, I have actually downloaded all my GOG game installers into my hard drive(s). :)

So do I, thank Christ they make 8tb external drives now days or I don’t know how I would keep back ups of all my games, updatings a real pain as well when you store them this way and I’m not using Galaxy.
With numbers like that you need to like all types of games or is it for collection perpose? There is -200 games i like well and those i change between. Lots of old games actually and some new. There are several very good old games that they don.t have here or at steam etc. That could be a good challenge for you guys.
BTW, is there a prize to the winner here? :P

I for one would still love a GOG shirt. I'd wear it!

A lot of my clients were real happy when Amazon announced that $60/ year unlimited cloud storage way back when.

They were also really ticked when they dropped it.

I won't use anything bigger than a 2 or 3 gig drive. Too worried that it'll fail and I'll lose everything on it. Smaller space to lose less.

edit: 205 for me.

I’ve used external drives since I first got my own PC in 06, never had one fail on me. I always research the brand and models and gat the best overall ones I can get at that time (although I know that’s no guarantee), and when their very large you don’t need to upgrade for years.

Had a librarian rip the power cord out of the wall on one of mine. Never worked right again. She was upset because I had plugged it into "her" outlet. Took the library administration 6 years to respond and that was to tell me that they weren't going to follow up.
346 GOG games. Not a huge amount, but all were bought in less than 2 years. Let's see, that's averages to about a game every 2 days...yep, I think I may have a problem.
405 here.
