I just wanted to start a discussion about this amazing RTS game. It came out when there was nothing really happening with the franchise and yet, and yet it was an absolute hit. Made by Westwood, it's like a missing entry in the C&C series, and IMO one of the best ones. The factions are amazing, the gameplay is great, the graphics were stunning... and the style is still beautiful. The music is super enjoyable. And of course the story, it's actually really really good and deep as opposed to the self-aware cheesy story in C&C (which is fun, but it's just a different thing). I don't think a game quite like that has been made since - most RTS games, especially scifi ones, have some level of corny "straight to VHS" element to their world building.

There is nothing to say, hopefully one day it can be added, especially with how popular Dune has become again with the new film. It has over 10 000 votes on the wishlist... but I heard the Dune rights holders don't care much for older games so who knows ... maybe, hopefully, one day?

Anyways, who played Emperor? Curious what you all think about this game.
