Battle Princess Madelyn or Tanglewood or Adventure Pals or something else?

I want something that is immersive, with fluid controls, runs on Windows 10.

Depends on how you define "immersive". Adventure Pals doesn't have a great plot or amazing story-telling or wondeful landscapes to explore, it's just a silly little platformer with linear levels divided in stages, with occasional choices in what order you want to play them, as well as some collecting, buying and upgrading mechanics. Gameplay is pretty standard platformer, but fun and fluid. Only tried it on Win 8.1, no problems.

I somehow ended with throne breaker & candleman
Although, I did snag Battle Princess just now.
