You thought Hollywood was out of ideas with all the sequels, remakes and reboots? Well, here's the real bottom of the barrell- a feature film based on the epic storyline of Where's Waldo! Can a Clippy the Office Assistant movie be far behind?

Now I just hope they can get Nicholas Cage to play Waldo.

No they ran out of ideas when they made Battleship.

This is very embarrassing but I actually kinda liked that one, in a "so bad it's good" kind of way. A lot of fun to watch with friends.

As to the idea of "Hollywood is running out of ideas"

That's because you are solely looking at the Blockbuster scene.

If you want something unique like say a GOOD Horror movie that is not a rehash of an established franchise, watch The Babadook:

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where%27s_Wally%3F this idea has been kicked around for years already.

I wonder whether they'll make alternative Wally/Waldo versions, as with the T.V. series. The joys of global branding...

...It looks like you're trying to type a letter, would you like some help?

Lol I would quite enjoy Clippy getting melted down alá T2 :)
Where's waldo movie...

I know there was a funny spoof using waldo for the Borne trailer... Was pretty good.

Actually i'd enjoy a full blown movie from this trailer, with B rated acting you can just drop the criticism and enjoy what's there :P

I don't see why they need anybody to play Waldo.

Hey, the acting in that trailer is better than anything Matt Damon ever delivered.

Wow, I was hoping for Mo Rocca. He looks just like Waldo.

So does the lighthouse. And the towel. And the flag. And the umbrella.
I remember reading that they were going to make a movie based on Tetris, of all things. Can you name any Tetris characters?

No, but then again I can't name any characters from Jurassic World and it made over 1,5 billion dollars, so I guess that's not a problem anymore.

Alexey Pajitnov.
Might be better than Ghostbusters...
