CarChris: I meant that no game is suitable to be played while we're at work. If the boss sees his employee playing a game (even a game which doesn't feature "lightly dressed" women), he'll fire the employee. He has him in work to be working, not to be getting paid while he's playing games in the company's PC!
You're not the only one who doesn't understand why it's "NSFW" either. Maybe cause it's "classier" but - is playing a LEGO game "safe for work"? If my boss is the kind who cares too much about optics and strokes his ego too much, he's definitely going to explode on me for playing the LEGO game even if I don't have a single case to work on right now.

Now that I'm thinking about it, he might only explode on me for playing the LEGO game, but something like Sapphire Safari is definitely "YOU'RE FIRED!" territory. Even if we suppose I have a different boss and she's a lot cooler than the other guy with playing Legos, she won't be as forgiving when it's HuniePop. Maybe this is why it's "Not Safe for Work."

(Aside: One of my favorite spins on the expression is when workers do things that are literally unsafe during work, like standing on chairs, or reckless behavior.)
It's about credibility. Playing solitaire or the like on company time, maybe the employee is bored, needs more work on their hands. Playing porn on company time, well that employee is a deviant who can't be trusted.

Different type of games, different type of outcome.

SultanOfSuave: I'm just going to respond to this message so this is actually one thread, rather than being intentionally annoying. Who was the developer you questioned, was it Kagura Games, too, or someone else?
If it's someone else, did they receive: no (timely) response, a response saying that just their game or games were specifically rejected, or a verifiable communication stating that GOG has no intention of accepting any new nsfw games, period.
I don't monitor this space actively like some of my betters so perhaps my thinking is outdated, but if it is actually the last one (like you say it is), I think at least some people would be interested in this information - as it would verify already existing suspicions.

When I was bored, I used to play the game of seeing how long I could hold my breath, then attempting to break that record. It happened to also give the appearance that I has just been busily running around, occupied. But when I got too good at this game, the outcome was that I collapsed on the floor. After that, I wasn't allowed to play that game any more. But I have to say, passing by the time by rendering oneself unconscious is pretty effective. The pictures in my dreams were much more enticing than the tedium that was my reality, too. (Better than any nsfw game ;))

Hello!

On the topic of "[not] safe for work" games, I think the only game on GOG.COM that would be actually "safe" for playing during work hours if your position is somewhat related to IT and software would be "TIS-100", as the user 'HFJimenez' also expressed it in his/her review of it.

"TIS-100" is so minimalistic in its presentation, that I doubt anyone not familiar with it in the first place might think you are working on/in a cusomized command shell. :)

Kind regards,
foxgog
I wouldn´t be surprised if you're region locked out of playing many of them.

There is that. 338 titles currently blocked in SA.

Checked those eight recent Kagura releases and three of them are among those blocked there. All from the first batch of four, so maybe they didn't get to blocking the newest batch yet.

If you dont like sausage there are other options.
Not sausage food worries are too much of a niche thing for gog to be focusing on.
They still haven't delivered the drm-free pizza after... 13 years!
