Crosmando: The real philosophical question of our time is:

Do you wait for a game to come to GOG, to get it DRM-free; or do you take the leap and get it from another DD site with DRM, knowing that you probably won't have gotten to playing it in your backlog, before it's here.
I usually get games here unless GG carries them and GOG doesn't(and there's a sale on said game at GG)....once in awhile i'll also get a Steam game for the cheevos(again if GOG doesn't carry it, has a buggy version[this happens sometimes], or has a less than complete version.).

Hmmmm, well as it currently stands my list is short:

X-Com series (Microprose is on GOG, so likely in the future)
Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines (Troika too, so again likely)
Neverwinter Nights 2 (I didn't really like the first game by Bioware, but it's the only video game based on the D&D rules I haven't played, also Obsidian is unlikely to ever come to GOG, too new)

The UFO games are pretty good...have you tried them yet?

Also as for NWN2....that game is buggy as f**k...sorry for the language but the LAG I get on that game with my system being as it is(way more than is needed to run the game as per the REQs) pisses me off to no end. (Laggy camera turning/zoom and movement during the game when going around outdoor areas, and even worse during large battles with high numbers of enemies on-screen or a cutscene playing.....we're talking 15 or less FPS here.)

I have played them, that's why I'm buying. I think I ..cough cough... pirated them many moons ago, when I was a teenager I think. Recent interest re-emerged as I started to play more turn-based games like Jagged Alliance, Wizardy 8, etc.

As for NWN2, yep I feared that, I had similar problems with the first one despite having well a very decent computer hardware wise. Does it have a demo about?

Maybe...search NWN2 demo on google or yahoo/etc.

As for the first game, oddly enough that one runs smoothly on my system(well the diamond edition does anyways...never tried other versions.). o.0

Fuzzyfireball: I've been begging for Jazz Jackrabbit for so fucking long.

Epic and Apogee's catalog on GOG are sorely lacking.
I agree. I played Jazz Jackrabbit ages ago (my brother had a copy) and I loved it. It would definitely be nice to play it again.

I know it's kind of a big jump from stickers to which game will come out but I like reading wild speculation on which game is going to come out and GOG has given clues in the past. While the stickers could be a coincidence why is there a bag of animal food there? Does GOG have pets they keep in the office?

Are you forgetting the maintenance(server?) bears, and the gnomes/other odd creatures GOG uses to supplement it's staff? ;)

Protoss: I don't know, it is just not fun. Duke 3D was built on the same engine but much better.
How was it much better?

Possibly.

I don't necessarily disagree, I just want to know why he thinks Duke3d is better than Redneck Rampage
