I got gifted a game, which I then went to redeem. Upon redeeming it, the game did not then appear in my shelf.

Any ideas

first did you get a conformation email from GOG telling you that the game has been added to your account? if so then try https://www.gog.com/account/refresh

and see if the game appears, if not then contact suppourt and make sure you have the confirmation number from the confirmation email.
What was the game and did you get it gifted to you from someone in here?

My advice is to contact support, select "gift/promo code issues" as the problem type, and explain the issue to support. Keep the code handy, as they might ask you for it.

How old are those? I should have clarified above to say that you no longer receive a confirmation e-mail after redeeming a gift. It indeed used to be the case (and I also have similar confirmation e-mails), but it stopped happening after the redesign (27 August).

oh, I didn't know. I haven't redeemed a gift in maybe in at least a year to two years.
they will fix the problem they did for me a lot of times just give it around 2 days tops.

here is the shit kicker lucky you did not have around a 133 go missing from your shelf like I did... was the day tables went flipping lol but thank god 8 hours later they all came back -_-
I'll confess I once had the problem of not actually redeeming a gift because I forgot I needed to "checkout" the gift on the second screen.

Can you ask the gifter to see if the game was redeemed by you? They can see who redeemed their gifts from their library page.
