When I had installed on my old Windows 95/Windows 98SE system it was easy to clean up the saves.

I am replaying the series. And HoMM 2 is much harder than I remember. I have a BUNCH of saves when I try this type character then that type and I win some and lose many.

I cannot clean up my save files. Where are they located? Do I need to remove from my system and re-install for each new set of tries?

For me (on Windows), my saves for games from GOG are saved under game specific folders in "C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games".

It took a bit of looking around but I finally found my saves under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Gog Galaxy\Games\HoMM2 Gold\cloud saves\GAMES". Your information got me to where I was checking the right directories. I was not even looking at the correct drive before your help.
