I like the new design but where are the GOG lists made by users? i mean, what happen to them? the lists were the only way for me to find what games should i buy on GOG (with priority, because i though they GOG team was nice) and what games should i buy on Steam because in many lists were listed the disadvantages of GOG over Steam (which are many). Now i will have to buy only Steam games so i wont have to buy Steam games after i have already purchased the games on GOG because the GOG games lack some features that i care about.
Right now i am very disappointed, it seams to me that GOG is trying to hide something, and not a Halloween pleasant surprise.
And another feature that is missing is the numbers of votes on the rating of a game. I was really interested in those numbers (which were totally smaller than on Steam, probably that is why were removed), now i will have to learn about the popularity of a game from Steam...
And another feature that i really miss, from the very old version of GOG, is the ability to manually sort the games. That makes me help to collect games, not just to buy games. I dont play games, i just want to collect them and i cant collect them good enough if i cant sort them the way i want.
It seams to me that GOG started to add too many things that user dont need and is removing parts that are really needed to make this site feel like a community, not liek just another online shop. Is their way of saying "Is not your website, is ours. Buy games or GTFOH". Optimizing the process of buying games is really not the thing that GOG needs right now. Their version of the games are inferior to Steam games, many GOG games dont even receive a update years after the update was released on Steam. Hiding this things on the long run will ruin their credibility and thats the only thing that GOG has better than Steam.
