infinitee8: Honest question - this game is a few years old now right? Why it is still getting regular updates? New content every week or having to consistently fix bugs? I'm sure its some kind of combination of that and maybe something more too but I find it odd that a game thats pretty old is updated as often as you say it is. Wouldn't the devs have also moved on to the next project too to keep money coming in?
It got a HD version with a better engine and alternate graphics, which replaced the Flash-based original version (the original is available as a bonus). The HD is what's getting updated.

Aaaaaaand... a new update for DQ!!! :D
Patch 2.0.8c (22 July 2016)

fixed: a minor visual annoyance in the party menu (spells like lightning had stats of "0" even though they still worked properly)
