It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Doesn't Facebook keep tracking you if you're not properly logged out there/haven't deleted your cookies?
Facebook really is pretty bad, one should stay well away from it...Mark Zuckerberg is downright evil imo, and it looks likely he'll run for US president in 2020.

I can't remember the last time I used it. Guess I'll have to do some maintenance.

I don't understand the details since I'm clueless about technology, but as far as I know, it really does do some pretty bad stuff and even runs scripts that make it possible for other sites to track you back to your FB account (so if you're writing something on another site anonymously, someone might identify your real name...).

If I may make the suggestion, why not look up at the suggestion I made. That way you can see the files and scripts being pulled from facebook?

I don't use Facebook and never have, so I shouldn't be affected by it. I've only heard bad things about Facebook, seems horrible on every level, if one doesn't have to be there for some reason, one should avoid it imo.

I'm kinda clueless too. I did what you suggested but all I see is "facebook.com" being highlighted in the posts; not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for.

Also, this is a new browser - Pale Moon - and I've been using it for a few days and haven't touched Facebook. The only other browser I still have on my system is IE, which hasn't been used in forever.

This is nothing to worry about. GOG appears to be using Facebook Pixel. It's an analytics tool that allows them to figure out how you are using their web site. For instance they may notice that nobody ever scrolls past 100 games in the list, or never clicks on the rightmost sale image. Armed with that data they might choose to not load any games past 100 (reducing the load on their server) and to remove the rightmost image and put something else in it's place.

I'm not a fan of Facebook and don't have an account there, but not everything Facebook does is inherently evil. For instance they are a very valuable contributor to the Open Source community. This is to say that there is not necessarily a need to panic if you see the word "Facebook" somewhere. =)
