Looking for a mobile version of tetris and seeing plenty in the Google apps store wondering if anyone has played a few of them and had any suggestions?

Edit: can be either free or paid, good version of tetris is worth paying for.

You're probably better off asking this in the r/AndroidGaming subreddit.

Anyway, I searched and read the threads about Tetris there.
Judging by the comments, it seems to boil down to 'No Full-Premium versions available' (one-time-payment, Ad-free, No IAPs / No subscription).
And that, the best candidate is probably Falling Lightblocks which was taken down from Google Play Store due to DMCA takedown notice.

The good news is: you could still download and install the game by sideloading the APK on your Android device. The file was provided by the Dev himself, so there should be no viruses or piracy to worry about.

Unfortunately, the only Tetris clone I could think of and/or find for Android which meets my criteria is the long moribund Blockinger.

But I can openly offer the Simon Tatham Puzzle Collection.
