Your website is tanking and your GOG galaxy app doesn't even work right. I only own Might and Magic 7 and I want to play it. Earlier this week after several minutes of pain, trying to tell your website I can sign in, and after the fact that it said I had progress on the game, it didn't load right away but the numerical value above "Games" was 1. Eventually I got it to download but when I clicked to install, it brought up galaxy and galaxy said I didn't own any games and still doesn't so it tells me I need to buy it again, but the website confirms I own it and have played it before on galaxy. This is infuriating.

either launch the exe in the folder directly or download the offline backup installer
I have to say, it's something I never understood. What is the Americans' problem with the world "hell"? It's not vulgar or offensive to anyone, why is it treated over there like something that needs to be "bliped" out?

Hey, c'mon man, even I've never heard of someone self censoring "hell."

Their is enough practical foundation for a religion to be involved with the goverment. you guys really need to play some civ..... nothing goes as far as practicing the good side of religion while hiding your true face
I'm gonna guess that since the user has no rep and many forums have profanity filters they are erring on the side of caution. That or they are censoring the work hail. Or hall.

It's considered to be a light swear, along with "damn" and "ass". "S--t", "w---e", and "b-----d are mid tier swearing, and the F-bomb is the top tier swear word.

Reminds me of an anecdote. Back when I played Guild Wars (the first one), there was an enemy with the word "damned" in its name. The game also censored all swear words, so it would censor "damn" if you typed it, but you can see the enemy's name clear as day.

This is completely why the post was made

GW2 went one step further and actually censored itself. In the german localization items like Dicke Bombe (Large Bomb) or the skill Neunschwänziger Stoß (Nine Tail Strike) would appear censored. And they did the same thing in their official forums, except that they wouldn't censor it like ----er Knochen as ingame, but replace the possibly offensive part of the word with something they considered cute. Iirc in the english forums they'd put in "kitten" instead and in the german ones "liebsche" – which isn't even an actual word.

I always found this kind of censorship pointless and turned it off wherever possible.
