There are free remakes available, and the original Atari, Amiga and DOS versions are in practice abandonware (and yes, servile ones, I know it's not a legal term).

I think I'd vote for Skyrim myself.

The Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-earth

Mass Effect

Edit: If I had to pick one it'd probably be Battle for Middle-earth, as it's currently not available for purchase anywhere and it's one of my favorite strategy games

Over time a lot of the classics I've been waiting for eventually arrived - the latest being Command HQ a month or two ago. There are the two classics I specifically want:

Civilization
Civilization II
