tinyE: It's a four button controller, ie Sega Genesis, but with a totally fucked up layout.
And my guess is it's for left handed people.
My guess is it's for 3 handed people.

Maighstir: As a left-hander, I couldn't use that even if my life depended on it.
And as a 3-hander, I can confirm it'd be very comfortable to use.

I heard Vodool is the younger, uglier brother of Cthulhu. He mainly consists of arms and eyes, so the only thing he can do is gaming. But since the Great Old Ones never developed gaming technology, he uses this controller to manipulate or world. He has two arms and one controller for every living person in the world. It is connected with invisible cables to our brains.

Well I said for lefties because typical controllers, made for righties, have the analog stick on the left and the buttons on the right. This controller is the opposite.

AND on a side note, once this has been answered, can we start a separate "What on earth *is* this thing" thread for all of us to post in with our curiosities. I have several pics I can't figure out for the life of me.

MajicMan: Which is why it is so stunning that so many controllers still have horrible D-pads.
This!

You'll have to wait for my copyright to expire.

No really.

Actually, I think the main problem with your request is that we both know this thread will never be answered.

This thread seemed generic enough from the start, so just post a bunch of curiosities right in here.

Then again, we have at least a couple dozen threads called "test".

How dare you!? This thread is dedicated solely to solving a specific mystery that has plagued mankind since at least last night!
To be fair it only looks slightly more uncomfortable than "normal" game pads already are.
