Vendor-Lazarus: Everything is "possibly political". For games, that's ok..unless it's included (or excluded) on a biased weighted scale.
avatar
GamezRanker: I meant it seems to be capitalizing on current events to make a buck...like the covid game and others.
Didn't seem like that to me. Just your regular survival/base building game.
And believe you me, I'm anti-woke.

Vendor-Lazarus: I disagree about combining sub-forums most vehemently!
avatar
GamezRanker: I meant mainly for less popular games, where the game gets few threads....and maybe combined into forums like sa-sh, sh-sz, etc.

Also add tags to title listings if possible, for easier searching.
Only make those less popular games even harder to find information about...
Played this on the Vita. It's extremely goofy, as you might expect, but a lot of fun as I recall. Maybe a little repetitive. On the Vita, the framerate could get pretty bad; I assume the PC version is better.

Let's be honest...many post about the games in the gen forums most times anyways.

With a proper search and tag system, the system I had in mind would be totally workable and reduce the number of forums needed to watch over and maintain.
(which seems like it'd be more a good than a bad thing)

Lets be even more honest. I think that only happens because the games' page or the galaxy link to its forum points to the General forum. ,)

I'm not entirely understanding what you mean by search and tag and listing, so I refrained from commenting on that.
I just want to not have to rely on steam DRM's forums when it comes to actually finding current information about a game.

Let's be 300% more honest.....people are more often than not lazy and likely don't want to open another forum for each game they want to talk about. :)

Some sites and forums allow threads and pages to be "tagged" with terms that one can use(usually via a drop down menu or entry field) to find only threads/pages/posts based on those tags.

They could be the name of the game or series, the issue one is having, etc.

Seems to work for steam DRM though, doesn't it? ,)

Nah..That just makes it even more convoluted. And who'd define and implement the tags?

Steam let's each ip holder pick their own mod staff.....they have more mods than gog could ever hope to get.

I was just spitballing ideas....and it seems to work for other sites.

I mean, imo it makes no sense to keep a sub-forum open if it gets maybe 2-3 threads a year or less.

The games came out first (there was a Japanese prequel on PSP that we didn't get) and the anime sucks.

I'm not really a anime connoisseur + I'm easily entertained with wacky stuff; so it worked for me :P

I already watched it.
Maybe GOG learn something from the Devotion fiasco
is the gog version contains everything that was in the PS3 version?
