I just saw the ad for it and the first game sounds a lot like Voyager - lost and trying to find your way home! :)

All the X3's but X2 was fun enough, first game i personally don't care for much but it laid the foundation and later games refined them, X Rebirth was an unmitigated disaster and i still don't like it., not being able to pilot the best ships was such a stupid desicion.

X4 Foundations, i haven't bought it yet but various bugs, performance issues aside it does look solid and has potential to be really good i think.
