Still happening in '24. Seems to be a 50% discount bug.

Uncharted holiday sale; Normal Price £39.99, Discount price @ 50% £20.04. Correct discount should have been £19.99

No Man's Sky has recently gone on sale at 50% off. Normal price £39.99. Discount price listed at £20.04. Again, should be £19.99

Steam and other digital outlets don't seem to have an issue dividing by 2

Had an email from customer services acknowledging the discrepancy and offering an apology. Apparently they notified the relevant department to look into it.

Two months on:

Cyberpunk on sale @ 50% off of £49.99. So one would expect to pay £24.99. Nope- £25.06.

Come on GOG. It's simple math. Stop trying to Nickle and Dime your customers.

I'm sure on the back end it's using a different currency as it's base, and then we get the 'converted to closest' after it does the 50%.

If it were all one currency i'm sure it would be a lot easier.

Though why you'd pay for not-renting and non-ownership of something baffles me.
