So, I was thinking earlier, on the matter of really obscure games.

And Voxar's Tumblebugs. A game so obscure it doesn't even have a Mobygames page.

It existed. It was sold. And yet it's so obscure that basically three pages exist for it.

So, what's the most obscure game you know of, and what obscurity do you class it by?
How about this one?

I don't really know but i think Diaper Dash is rare.
Pyongyang Racer
Lex: Wizard of Words. Sure, it was an educational title, but it was a great game for people who liked word puzzles. Played it on the family Tandy 1000TX back in the day.

Wow. I feel old.

Dunno, when it comes to games that are not that easy to find out about on the web anymore, or that not that many people seem to know about, relatively speaking, maybe:

AA(A?): Meat Puppet (does have a MobyGames and a Wikipedia page now though, I remember it being harder to find)
Shareware: Gargoyle Medieval Pack (Gargoyle, Gargoyle Revenge, Gargoyle Mania)
Freeware: Dark Disciples, or Dark Ages I: The Continents

I also used to play a lot of SuperStar Ice Hockey on PC (not sure how well known that is) and public domain HASCS games on the Atari ST (Hack-And-Slay Construction Set, German only). Although, now that I think about it, any PD game I played on the Atari ST would probably count as obscure here, especially the German only stuff, heh (Anduril, Gilgalad, The Vault text adventures, Karlchen, or - this one's probably the most notorious still - Ballerburg. :D)

Anyway, none of those is obscure enough that you can't find any pictures of it (see attached screenshots). I probably know more obscure games than that, but if I do, I don't remember them as well. ;)

On the top of my head:

Ballgame 2 (wishlist entry)
Endorfun

Not necessarily that obscure, but I think at least far from well-known

Climb to the Top of the Castle! is a pretty obscure Platform game from 2011.
You can get it for free from itch.io

Of games I've played, Out of the Shadows for the ZX Spectrum, maybe? No Mobygames entry, but was one of the few real CRPGs for the Speccy.
Games that were never released, never shared, and never mentioned to anyone are the most obscure games that exist. I can't give any examples, for obvious reasons, but I suspect their existence.

I grew up on pre-Steam indie shareware compilations on CDs from publisher eGames and others, so a good chunk of that is relatively obscure. Noop's Odyssey I considered pretty obscure until some Middle-Eastern artist popularized it after she was trying to figure out what she grew up on and it turned out to be this game, so somehow the game got around. :p

Hey, that one I know as well! :)

Which reminds me, I think this obscure little indie game isn't even available anymore. I got it almost a decade ago or so from Indievania, I think? Also not around anymore.

LoL, man, that's crazy. I played this game as a child, I found demo of it somewhere between 97-98' on Gambler cd. I had no idea until now what was the name of this game. I barely visit this forum, entered like first time this year and see your post. What a coincidence, thx man!
Weird Dreams on the Amiga was very weird indeed:
