Breja: The news program? I think we're too deep into the rabbit hole for me, I don't get the connection.

amok: Punky Brewster was finally canceled as it did not draw audiences away from 60 minutes, which ran in the same time slot - i.e a PunkBuster
Ooooh. That's actually kinda clever. Kudos. I mostly know 60 minutes because of The Insider, so this flew way over my head :D

tinyE: Funny, but I thought mine was more cultural.

Breja: Probably. Either way, we've used up the best ones. The next guy will have to try to make a Punky Brewster pun.
Sorry, it is too serious of an issue to make jokes about. :'(

NO SUCH THING
I remember punkbuster from a long time ago when I used to play a lot of games online. I should have used it as my gog name. Sometimes I feel like busting punks instead of seeking loot.
Punkbuster is an eons old anticheat program. It's probably been Punkbusted a long time ago and I'd pay it no mind.
I went to the wili-pedia link and looked at the list of game and I have Farcry and Farcry 2 and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, maybe that is what triggered the license agreement.....Does GOG use punkbuster for anything? I also noticed that you have to be playing the 64 bit game as administrator on your machine and this is very dangerous and leaves you open for a hack.I am really glad I checked "do not agree" on the license agreement!!!

Microfishd: Basically, Punkbuster is designed to be a very invasive anticheat program and ends up being a TROJAN and/or type of SPYWARE. Battleye is a better alternative.
Battleye and easy anti cheat have had similar accusations aimed at them.
