I often see games in EA and think "that might be interresting, if it'll ever be finished", and then I go on and forget about it.
But what happens when/if they leave EA?
Will the final/proper version show up as a new release, so noone misses it?
Or do I have to keep track of all those games, wishlisting them and checking in once a year, so I don't miss them if they are finished sometime in the future?

Anyone know how it works?

If you have it then it just releases to all. News will be out when they are out of early access.

they are split up then hashed with random keys then deleted and then the deleted bits are planted into the ground so a new early access game can grow out to milk the players

They also sometimes have a price increase when they get out of Early Access (or as they called in GOG, In Dev) status.
