It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Well, although there are indeed a lot of similar threads in the forum, actually none of it got an official answer. I think the OP's question is still valid.

Do we really need an official answer? What could it be? "We haven't decided what to do about it. It may or may not coming back. Please be patient and wait until you hear from us about it."

I feel like all these threads are a bit like spam because they are in principle directed at the company and not at the community. Obviously people don't take no official answer as an answer although it is one.

p.s. There is a bit of an official answer. JMich linked to it. Reads a lot like what I made up in this post.

I don't check Reddit for answers that I think could (should) be posted where they actually belong to: GOGs very own site. However, thanks for the link!

Just to make this clear: I am perfectly aware of why the program has come to some kind of stagnation. :) It is just that I can understand why people are interested in any information about its current status. After all, it is still existent (at least the page/link). And of course one can always say "No answer is also an answer", but once we are going that direction, there is no reason to have forums anymore at all and any discussion can be shut down instantly.
Thanks for the replies...;)
