Carmageddon
not into racing or driving in general (don't have licence irl) but this is some fun rampage :D

Jeanne D'Arc
colorful, anime style, tactical jRPG, on handhelds
Still - da best game on PSP, no regrets

Fallout - New Vegas
can't stomach Bethesda games in general but once they gave IP back to original creators of that IP, under restriction to use their garbage duct taped engine, they managed to pull out amazing game.
Some people hate it for some reason. No idea why. Lack of Bethseda's blessing? dunno

Path of Exile
MMO? dunno
F2P? oh yes
It was the only one game that encouraged me to buy MTX/microtransactions by giving some good time

I'm the kind of person who never really understood why I'd play some online game. I recall playing Diablo (2?) online once and I was totally bored. I played Quake Deathmatch online for some time but it got very boring quite early. I've tried to play Counterstrike and didn't really see the point of it. Half a year ago I tried Fortnite since everyone was talking about it, pffft, boring.

Yet, for some reason I've played Team Fortress online for as long as I remember, ever since Quake TeamFortress was a thing. I am still playing Team Fortress 2 several times a week, sometimes daily. TF just does something right that I find it enjoyable to play, even though I find other online (shooters and others) pointless and boring.

Another might be Plants vs Zombies. I haven't liked tower defense games that much, they basically just are simplified and restricted RTS games, like hidden object games are to "proper" point'n'click adventure games. But, PvZ was just enjoyable, I've played it through three times. It got something right that other tower defense games didn't.

Yeah, I've always felt with round-based online multiplayer games that I'm wasting my life doing the same thing over-and-over without accomplishing anything, but once in awhile that gameplay loop feels so rewarding that I guess it doesn't matter.
