Never saw this before. And there is no description in the HTML code what this could mean.
Just a few games have it.

Is there some information about it?

Edit: It seems this goes away when I click on the entry and close it and then reload the site.
But why are the games also marked as new even if I click on them in the Galaxy client and download extras?

New or Updated most likely.

Yup, that's it. You can check the changelog for the game to find out what has been updated.

Personally I think the red "Updated" flags were better. The blue dots are too easy to miss, especially if you have a lot of games.

Yep, JMich is right. If you use Galaxy and have it set to automatically update games it should download the new version by itself.

If you don't use Galaxy and you want to play the updated version you can download the installer again and reinstall. For some updates there's also a separate, much smaller patch available.

Possibly the first (updated) because other games still have the little "new" badge behind the title.
Too bad, that I have removed this now on some games and I don't know which games were updated :D

Semi recent bug with the forum, question threads sometimes see subsequent posts as opening post too, so unable to be set as solution. Feel free to set this post, or ask the staff to manually set it.

Except that "updated" can mean an update to anything to do with the game. It could be that they just added a French Linux version, which is completely irrelevant to you if you play the game in English on a Windows machine. Or they could have updated the bonus soundtrack with higher quality files. They could have added a "Making of" video. Or of course they could have updated the game with the latest patch. All of these things will result in a blue dot, but not all of them will do anything to the installer.

Only updated. New is designated with a very fade grey box with the text "NEW" in white font.

I always prefer the english versions, they are much better in my opinion. Maybe the blue dots were from the news today, that they have added some more german versions.

Unfortunately I do not see a big difference when looking at the details of the game in my account.
Is there no list of updated games and what has changed? =(

Possibly. In the future, you can check the changelog for the game. Just click on the game with the blue dot, click on the "More" dropdown in the game window and click "Changelog". That should tell you exactly what has been added/updated.

Only for each individual game. You can filter your games to only show those that have been updated, but the "Updated" flag (the blue dot) is cleared as soon as you click on the game in the list, so if you do that but don't check the changelog at that time, it won't show as updated any more.

Okay thanks. It seems many games still had the update dot although the latest updates were in 2014 and before (so before the Galaxy client was installed). Now I have removed all of them. I have to download all files anyway =)

Well, as I have many games (1000+) and I download all backup installers and extras atm, it would be useful to have the feature to check the drives on the external harddrive, if they are uptodate with the files on the servers :D

Or I redownload every game when I'm done with downloading all files so I can be sure to have the latest files? :D
I think this external harddisk does not have enough capacity :D
