These days, I look at the GOG store and think about it. Honestly, rather than selling adult games or censored adult games, why don't GOG sell games that are popular and known to many users? I personally wish I could purchase "Senran Kagura Series". It is expected that more users will purchase than "Neptunia Series". I hope the day comes when I buy "Senran Kagura Series" from GOG Store. No matter how many adult games they sell, I don't think "Tsukuru" games are good. I want to buy a product that is fun and cute enough to play adult games and is popular enough. I don't know what other users think. I hope the person in charge of GOG store will think carefully.

Fun fact: I've never heard of any of these series. :)

in general it's because they can't get the devs or publishers to release the "popular" games here, because GOG has perhaps a 1% market share (in PC gaming) and makes a pittance of what Steam does.

But in regards to Senran Kagura specifically, is the publisher already here? That series seems potentially realistic to me. also, https://www.gog.com/game/neptunia_x_senran_kagura_ninja_wars
There was an attempt to bring the senran kagura series to Gog but there were issues removing the drm and it was ultimately cancelled.

everything kagura can only be the worst of the worst
I have some on Steam, but I'd really like to buy them here. If they ever re-release it on GOG, I'll buy it. I even buy the ones I already have at the other store.

That post seems a bit strange. They got a generic response from the devs and then claimed it was due to Anti-Cheat*. I'd say they had "problems" in the form of legal / shareholders. If they had actual problems removing the DRM, then that port is dead the second Steam / Windows / Etc. gets an update it's no longer compatible with. A GOG / DRM free release was probably not worth the investment to them at the time.

*: That's the biggest scam out there. If your game requires the players or their devices to report cheaters, you're doing it wrong. Period.

Edit: I do hope they will release some more titles here though.

This is one of my favourite game series, but I don't think it's ever coming to GOG. It's a shame for us fans, but it is what it is.

GOG should re-reach out to XSEED about getting those games here now.

Likewise, GOG customers should re-reach out to XSEED and ask them if they are willing to re-visit the issue of releasing those games on GOG.

The very old ancient excuses for why they aren't on GOG probably are no longer applicable now in 2022.

...
we don't agree on a lot but I agree on this.
I would love to see this series come over to Gog as well. Hopefully it would also serve as a link to more Japanese games being ported. I've heard that selling Japanese developers on PC gaming in the first place can be difficult, not to mention DRM Free.

Kinda just want to know why we haven't gotten Neptunia X Kagura yet, since it's been out for a few days now. That second class citizen shit is definitely true about this site.

I mean, I guess I could.

The companies? Yeah. Practically everyone but the eroge market, which is why they're here. But GOG didn't even get A Housewife's Healing Touch and pretty much every other adult storefront did. Weird.

I keep on hoping that XSeed finds a way to work around the DRM, and that Shinovi & Estival Versus will show up... but sadly I don't think they're gonna happen.

Whether or not they "find a way" depends entirely on whether or not they are actively looking into the issue at the present time, or, alternatively, whether they abandoned the matter years ago, and then never revisited it.

If the latter is the case, then perhaps reminding them will encourage them to revisit the matter and do something about the problem.
