Kristian: ... at least potentially reducing the sales of the game itself.
That could also be. Maybe they are just not very clever or too lazy. I guess we will never know the true reason unless they happen to give some explanation.

What do the people here think of that decision?

ReynardFox: But then they'll go ahead and reject some genuinely excellent games for no reason other than blatant stupidity.

Yes, I am again referring to Mushihimesama, Deathsmiles and the whole Cave/Taito catalugue that Dejica own. No I will not forgive the cretinous individuals who rejected these, especially when they make claims like "if they sell well on Steam, maybe we will reconsider". This is self-destructive idiocy, no open minds, no risk taking, just play it safe, never try to expand your userbase, just stay clueless.

Someone explain to me why shit like Omnibus is ok, but games from a literal top-of-it's-class shooter developer aren't?

I'm not saying there isn't room to allow some basement tier indie games, but only if you're not throwing good stuff out while you're at it it.
This is a major problem.

Also, how can GoG claim curation is for quality control when GoG rejects excellent games from established developers with completely working titles, but approves and sells kickstarter titles for pre-purchase?

Also, as mentioned earlier, the complete and total ignorance of the curation staff is undeniable. GoG has no sports games and rejects every sports title.

GoG should either do real curation based on quality, sales and developer support and dependability or open the platform .
I just want GOG to add more old games. The more old games the better IMO.

Me too. I'd trade the latest indie hit for more classics (or even obscure gems) any day.
