You get xp by bying games and what you do with it?

Once you reach 5000, 20000 and 30000 XP, you unlock Expeditions: Conquistador, Dex and Victor Vran respectively. Once you have unlocked Victor Vran, XP stops having a practical role and just becomes cosmetic.

Oh just those ones.. I thought If i unlock those games, I can unlock any game I choose. Well thanks for clarifying that it cant be done that way.

You get free games when you earn certain amounts of XP during the sale

5k XP: Expeditions: Conquistador
15k XP: Dex
30k XP: Victor Vran

I just wanted a cheap game - I thought each xp is the cost of the game.. Wanted to get runestone keeper - thought 3k xp is the cost of xp to get that game. :'(

Some of us get a sort of "XP" to buy games for, regardless of there being a sale or not, due to regional pricing and the so-called "Fair Price Package" :-P

It is the other way around. Except for the freebies, the xp listed for each game is how much xp you get for buying the game. Buying Runestone Keeper would earn you 3300 (~3k) xp.
