No reason to post Lord of the Rings since it's already posted.

• A.I. | 2001 | Steven Spielberg. Very powerful story.

• Children of Men | 2006 | Alfonso Cuarón. One of the best movies I've watched; great atmosphere, cast & story.

It''s actually one movie per post. You can post multiple times. ;)

2001: A Space Odyssey, just kidding. I really don't know, most of my faves are from before 2000. Ok, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (2004)

Mad Max : Fury Road (George Miller, 2015)

The film that convinced me that I wasn't in fact bored with the action genre.

• The Mist | 2007 | Frank Darabont. Great film & characters and a fantastic atmosphere. Very true to the novella except the ending which was changed (very good though). Silent Hill & Half-Life (among others) were inspired by it.
