GamesRater: You actually spend a good amount of time making choices(during the dialog choices and at other points), or examining things....it's very choice heavy and somewhat brisk paced. :)
Of course it also locks your choices in quickly so there's no saves to load from, and you have to live with what you pick(or don't pick, if you choose inaction or silence as your choices).
Sounds a bit like The Council then. I thought you meant it was like a visual novel at first.
Breja: Honestly, I thought it was quite terrible. It starts out well, building a creepy mood, Gabriel Byrne telling ghost stories... and then at some point it drops all attempts at being spooky and moody and devolves into just being loud and stupid with a poorly acted villain making evil faces. Real waste of Byrne and Urban (who I didn't even remember was in it until checking right now).
Hmm, I only watched it once ages ago. Feel like I should rewatch it to see why I liked it ha ha ha!
