Which got part of them altered, or content removed? Is there a list for referrence somewhere, or something?

We already have the: "Games that treat GOG users as second class citizens", "games with censorship on GOG" and stuff. By far, this is the most interesting out of them all and should certainly debut in the spotlight.

Any users that can contribute into compiling such a list?

Wouldn't what you're asking be covered by the "2nd class citizens" list?

Actually not, since that list you say and from what i saw, is mostly for games that either arrived here in an incomplete state, don't receive updates, or have certain issues that haven't been fixed on GOG, but on other places. Or something.

I am talking about silent or not, content removal. Like the Witcher 3 preorder track. The old Fallouts extras. Stuff like that.

KiNgBrAdLeY7: ...
Oh you mean Goodies stuff or non-Windows versions that were on GOG but GOG had to pull (generally for legal reasons)? I guess there might not be a list for that yet, somebody could make one

CHUCHEL and the black-to-orange-face incident should be a good example.
I remember somebody asked the same question some time ago, and the only things that came up were that Witcher 3 track, and a German language pack for a game, though I can't remember which one. If there is a list, nobody provided it in that thread, as far as I know.

What do you mean? For those of us that got the games before Bethesda got the IP, all the extras are still there. I guess that now, the new publisher(Bethesda) doesn't have access to that material. That's not really GOG's fault.

Two more:

Pillars of Eternity and the "controversial" limerick
Mizhena, Social Justice and why we can't have nice things (Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear)

Lol at how they handled the first one....they removed the "offending" lines and made a jab at those who got offended by them.

Also an aside: I wonder why a person can hashtag(as the youngins call it) "K*ll all men" and not be looked into by the authorities or have such words removed from social media(they ARE threats, after all). o.0

Does the missing content have to be GOG's fault to be on the list? So we can RAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGEEEEEE at GOG like we love to do (or just self-pity)? ;)
I'm not going to get drawn into the politics, but that isn't even a bloody limerick.

Aside: I remember when GOG was young and people took what GOG offered with a more grateful tone/stance(not blindly loyal, per se, but just more grateful for what was given/offered by GOG).....but then GOG got bigger and gave people more of what they wanted(games, etc) so some people got more and more demanding & cynical over time....it happens with a ton of things, sadly.

You are correct, I was just channeling the feeling from that other thread, when I made my post. There were plenty of people complaining about GOG, and how much they've gone against their principles.

On topic, I also remember that there was a text based game, included as a bonus, with one of the leisure suit larry games. And that got removed silently by GOG, and then re-added at one point. But since I wasn't affected by the issue, my memory is fuzzy about the entire occurrence.

But the content is not missing, I have it all available on my account, as does anyone who has those games.
