They'll dump Rockstar Social and go hard on Epic long before they turn an aroused eye towards Poland.

Lord_Kane: Unknown, it would be possible if Rockstar finds themselves in the red and seriously facing the prospect of bankruptcy, but yeah Unknown but unlikely.

joppo: FTFY. There's something game studio execs hate even more than piracy (and in their colossal ignorance they believe DRM-free == pirates). Supposedly it was a bad financial situation that tipped Blizzard over.

We just need Rockstar to bleed money like a hemophiliac gunshot victim entering the ER, then it is a 50/50 chance they'll suddenly see the DRM-free crowd as a viable market. Probably more given that they can see that Blizzard's attempt surpassed all expectations.
very true.

durgiun: Rockstar's legal team is paid a fine sum to do just that.
Which is exactly why they've dropped the music and taken their games off the market in the past because their music licences expired.

I think the Trilogy (III, Vice City, and San Andreas) will show up soon enough.

If only it was. They're so badly dated at this point. Nostalgia is the only thing that makes them great at this point.

Nothing of sorts. Exactly how Wesp works on Bloodlines, there is a modder who annually updates patches/fixes for the 3d era GTA games. He even fixed most of San Andreas' bugs/issues and adds different resolutions and graphical fixes.

Please, son! And don't forget that other Steam-er, who recently recompiled GTA 1 + Expansions and made them run for modern systems; for free at that, too!

Please, welp. It's a badly dated game series and no mod can fix bad controls, script writing and awful game play.

Whatever you say. Even though i hate steam, i frequented that place well over 10 years ago. And I still remember the godawful reviews of HD era titles relatively recently, especially 4 standalone's; even before the reviewing system changed!

Their liberties, innovations and generic feel/touch was well noticed, especially by older players. And don't take for granted, that this fabled, newfound "realism", sat well with older players of the series.

HD era = pi$$ poor generic // 3D era = series' peak and iconic features

Impossible, just like Diablo and Warcraft 2. So, who knows, really.
