GeraltOfRivia_PL: So maybe that's what makes us better? Not trying to sound elitist here (as i myself set up my Steam account long before the GOG one) but when you see someone on GOG, you can assume that they are smart enough to have got here. Meanwhile, many people on Steam are casual players who mainly play the few most popular titles (CSGO, TF2, Dota 2, ARK SE, RDR2, PUBG, or Witcher 3).
Again, i am not saying Steam users are cretins, because i am one myself, but when you see a GOG user you can assume they know more about gaming than your average Steam user.
And it seems that because of a lack of a marketplace, there are no scammers here (at least i haven't encountered one) on Steam meanwhile i frequently get friend requests from level 1 accounts that only play CSGO, even though my inventory is only worth a few cents altogether. I wonder what would happen if i bought a $20 skin for AK-47.
For instance, my friend from high school has 3 games altogether on Steam and only plays CSGO. There are lots of people like that there. Although i myself only played Gwent on GOG for some time.
There are scammers here, there is a whole thread on it for the giveaways. As for the rest of it, I can’t say other than that seems to be a sweeping statement. A large number here will be those who play gwent or Witcher 3 only. What you have to remember is that GOG is a business, it’s not your friend, it’s not the saviour of gaming, it simply a method to make money. It’s t does that by employing a unique selling point, the drm free, other than that they will do anything it takes to get any type of custom through the door, and even the drm part is on shaky ground.
