10 years, 10 long years since the last movie 10 years after and 16 years after the BIG Rage and Letdown of Phantom Menace to a lot of people ( I had the benefit of still being a 7-8 year old kid back then). I still remember playing the Revenge of the Sith PS2 game. And PC gaming was practically non existant for me.

This movie better not recreate that Prequal level of hate and dissipointment with Social Media as it is today. If it sucks badly prepare for the next internet war.

Also the website looks interesting:

Well, Star Wars are everywhere right now, so it figures the forum here would also be chock full of it. The closer we get to the premiere, the more thread's there'll be. I guess I'll have to go off the grid come friday, if I don't want the movie spoiled for me.

Ditto. I'm having to avoid fucking commercials like the plague.

Anyone else here have to drive 100 miles round trip to see it? :P

The movie will be making its primier opening in Los Angeles in 2 days so don't look at critics or the forums.

Ah sith, it's worse than I thought. I thought that going to see it on monday (if everything works out) would be soon enough, just three days after the premiere. Avoiding the critics won't be a problem, but spoilers leak, and you're never quite safe. Fuck.

I'm gonna not use the internet for 4 days then.

At least I'm just gonna watch familiar things. I don't know Netflix something I guess.
I just wonder how bad is it gonna be on monday. I mean, even if we could have gotten tickets for the premiere, I don't think I would have wanted that. Friday is likely going to be hell, with a shitload of people and kids, so I hope monday is a little better. If there is one good thing about Star Trek not being popular in Poland, it's that there is never a crowd for the new movies, even on day one, which makes for much better movie going experience.
To be honest, not going to watch it in theaters, will probably watch it at some point. Not really that interested or excited, especially with such a crappy Battlefront launch from EA & Dice.
I feel as if I am this guy. I should probably get around to starting the series sometime though :P
