You do realize that the library view is simply embedded into Galaxy, meaning that Galaxy uses that same page as the website. So any issues with the new label would also likley impact Galaxy.

But sure continue to blame Galaxy because that's the easy thing to do... sound logic.
Medium rare GOG

Where did he blame that on Galaxy, though?
It read to me like he was just complaining about it in general. Only complaint I saw about Galaxy was how GOG snuck it into the downloaders, which I can understand him being particularly pissed at if he missed the forum thread about it (which the majority of people probably did).
Not sure I understand... They did what now?

Read to me like he was saying Galaxy is the root cause to all the problems... don't know but that is how I took it.

To be fair, I can barely make heads of tails of what he's saying myself.
1.
Next to the title of each newly acquired game that was never downloaded there was a NEW label. To help you see which games were new and never downloaded and which were not. This is gone now.

2.In the updated screen where you can see which games have been updated, not all games that have are shown. I would show you now recent examples but for that to happen I have to manually check all my games. A game that comes to mind now is Stars in Shadow. And before someone says it was just this game (bug/someone forgot etc), it wasn't just this game. I just happen to remember that one right now.

3. I didn't blame the client. I blame GOG and their attempt to push it to us and them doing anything they can to achieve that to the point they change the behavior of how the site works to make it a less pleasant experience so that people switch to the client.

4. Thanks for the low rating.

For the first point, the "NEW" label only stay until the first time you click on the thumbnail, not until your first download of the game. I think it always works that way. Or do you mean completely new purchase no longer show as "NEW"?

Check my shelf a bit. The Deadlight I got (for free) last time is flagged as new, but Her Story I got around the same time is not. I don't remember if I have clicked on the thumbnail yet though....

I still have some old games flagged as "New" as well, so the label is certainly not removed.

The update system is totally broken on the website. Recent examples of updates such as dying light, shadow warrior do not show as updated even though they are. New games still have the new tag until the page is opened on the library.
I have been told that gogrepo is useful for keeping your items up to date (never used it myself), so my recommendation is to download all installers and extras and keep the on a hdd, do not rely on the site to do it for you.

Yes, I am aware the label goes away after you click on the item. That is not the case any more as I haven't clicked on any of the games that should have the label as I haven't clicked on them yet. The label just doesn't appear any more, as simple as that.

Agreed.
It is quiet a coincidence that the way of doing things through the site gets "broken" and never fixed ever since the final push for the client, isn't it?

Now you also remove the "New" label on newly bought games.

Here is an idea for the next trick to push Galaxy. When I click on my Games List, download in the background Galaxy and kidnap a relative. IF I click on cancel to install Galaxy, kill the relative and threaten to do the same every week that I don't install your client. About as subtle as your current efforts.

Douches.

Hmm, I wonder what he wants to say? The "New" is still there? Maybe you clicked on all your library entries ;) ?

What "he" wants to say? What, I am not going to see your post? Or is this your way of being funny?

I am glad your NEW still appear, mine do not appear. And if you read other replies in this thread, I am not the only one.
