PandaLiang: For the first point, the "NEW" label only stay until the first time you click on the thumbnail, not until your first download of the game. I think it always works that way. Or do you mean completely new purchase no longer show as "NEW"?
Check my shelf a bit. The Deadlight I got (for free) last time is flagged as new, but Her Story I got around the same time is not. I don't remember if I have clicked on the thumbnail yet though....
I still have some old games flagged as "New" as well, so the label is certainly not removed.
Yes, I am aware the label goes away after you click on the item. That is not the case any more as I haven't clicked on any of the games that should have the label as I haven't clicked on them yet. The label just doesn't appear any more, as simple as that.
trusteft: 1.
Next to the title of each newly acquired game that was never downloaded there was a NEW label. To help you see which games were new and never downloaded and which were not. This is gone now.

I would show you now recent examples but for that to happen I have to manually check all my games. A game that comes to mind now is Stars in Shadow. And before someone says it was just this game (bug/someone forgot etc), it wasn't just this game. I just happen to remember that one right now.

I blame GOG and their attempt to push it to us and them doing anything they can to achieve that to the point they change the behavior of how the site works to make it a less pleasant experience so that people switch to the client.
4. Thanks for the low rating.
nightcraw1er.488: The update system is totally broken on the website. Recent examples of updates such as dying light, shadow warrior do not show as updated even though they are. New games still have the new tag until the page is opened on the library.
I have been told that gogrepo is useful for keeping your items up to date (never used it myself), so my recommendation is to download all installers and extras and keep the on a hdd, do not rely on the site to do it for you.
Agreed.
It is quiet a coincidence that the way of doing things through the site gets "broken" and never fixed ever since the final push for the client, isn't it?
