Up to 80% off Spelunky, Huniepop, Unepic, Tomb Raider 1+2+3, Steamworld Dig, and more!

Hey, sometimes staying on the surface is fine. There's nothing wrong with being afraid to venture into unknown caves, dripping with the promise of adventure. But sometimes, We Need To Go Deeper, and for that we'll need some proper tools. Whether it's an underground venture or a fall from grace, having the right company and the right equipment makes everything easier. Aside from what people will tell you, though, you don't need deep pockets in order to go deep. You just need to know the right people and look out for the right opportunities, like these sexy, up to -80% discounts.

Exploring underground crypts, ransacking ancient ruins, and braving spooky caves is a Tomb Raider's bread and butter. And if you need to blast some bad guys or climb a steep cliff to get there, then superstar archaeologist Lara Croft is your lady for the job.

Leisure Suit Larry is a ladies' man, except the ladies didn't get the memo. But that won't stop him from employing his goofy charms, crude humor, and semi-accidental puzzle-solving in order to get their attention. And perhaps their room number.

Can Rusty purge this Western village of the evil that lurks below its sandy streets? He sure as hell gonna try! The feverish Steamworld Dig will get him into deep dark places, where treasures, upgrades, and danger abound. Grow a spine and follow him.

Playing it safe might be all good and dandy, but if you want the full experience, then We Need To Go Deeper, get our hands dirty. You might find the following tools quite useful in this expedition: Spelunky, Huniepop, 99 Levels to Hell, and more! The promo will last until August 12, 9:59 AM UTC.
EVERY game in this promo is fantastic.
Sale and blurb reminded me of this... ;)
Yes, we need to go deeper and have Tomb Raider (2013) as well as Steamworld Heist release on GOG immediately. :)
How is 99 Levels to Hell? Has anyone here even played it?

I love it.

tinyE: I love it.
Your universal positivity is refreshing.

And I'll add, I keep coming back to Steamworld Dig. Again and again and again. :)

Matewis: I guess I really should make a point of legitimately finishing TR1 and 3 some day. The one important thing I remember about 3 is that it is super important to do the Nevada levels first,
Nevada first!?!? Is that why I fail?

Whenever I see that game in my library, I am filled a strong desire to finally beat it that competes with a strong fear of entering dead-end after dead-end loop... I've not played it since it first came out; it still haunts me.

From what I remember, somewhere in the nevada level you lose all your guns which sucks a bit since I couldn't find some of the guns again that I had collected up to that point, such as the mp5 :\
I enjoyed 1 and 2, I couldn't bring myself to bother with 3.

Where's the rest of the Tomb Raider games GOG? It couldn't possibly be that Square Enix doesn't need you to fix them up and thus they aren't bothering to release them here, RIGHT?!1!

Ah, yes. That'd be a good reason to do Nevada first. Capture/escape and restarting without weapons at some point was a staple of those early titles. I am not sure if that continued since I did not proceed beyond attempting TR3.

I didn't have internet access the first time I played. Things might be different with help. I may start it soon (but I may not... backlog and all that).
I have everything from this promo except for the Huniepop Deluxe upgrade (I bought a hardcopy so I didn't need it)...been a while since I could say that about a promo.
-> We need to go deeper
-> Huniepop

I see what you did here.

I was going to ask what games like Lula, Huniepop and the Larry series had to do with going deeper, but decided I'd better not...
This promo oddly reminds me of this: "... and he puts the hand DEEEEEPA"

For those that haven't noticed, there's an unannounced week-long 8-Bit Armies promo linked to from the front page.
